Well oh my days, I'm beaming.

This was a book that I picked up in a garden centre and was only £2.99. I read the back of around ten festive books and this was the winner that got to come home with me.

I chose this for two reasons, the obvious being the character is called Harriet, and secondly because I just knew that it was going to be an adorable soppy love story. Those who know me well know that I'm not a huge fan of chick flicks...unless its in a book (or its by Nicholas Sparks!)

Getting back to this Christmas romance novel by Sarah Morgan, Harriet is a shy woman living in New York. There are a couple things about her that make her a little unique: she owns a dog-walking company, she's a twin and has a stammer. On the flip side of the tale is Ethan, the dreamy A&E doctor who is hopeless in relationships.

Being so shy, Harriet challenges herself everyday to do something that pushes her out of the comfort zone. After a date starts in disaster, Harriet decides to leave the restaurant via the bathroom window ultimately sending Harriet to A&E...

10 points if you guess who treats her at the hospital......?!?

But this is not when the romance begins.

Harriet is asked to walk a client's spaniel called Madi, so she pops her coat on and heads to Madi's place of residence... (a bonus 5 points to who can guess who's flat it is!!!!!)

This book fills me with excitement and the adorable love story that unfolds. It's an easy read but the love story is long and complicated but reads well, switching between each lovebirds' point of view we get to understand the complicated thoughts, feelings and emotions from Ethan and Harriet.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to cuddle up on the sofa and feel the love this Christmas.

Lots of love to everyone and I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas.
